First registered on 29/12/72 and confirmed by BMW group archive as being produced from the factory in Polaris Silver, Chassis 2285038 has been lucky enough to have been completely and painstakingly rebuilt for a second lease of life.
On file is a full photographic album of the restoration from start to finish showing the intense and lengthy effort that has been lavished on this historic BMW touring car.
Also included is the cars original service book showings its first London based owner and supplier along with regular service stamps to 1987. Furthermore there are a collection of past invoices for mechanical and bodywork during this period that give a small insight into the cars first life. It is still carrying its first registration as issued by the DVLA and noted in the service book. The car has been off the road since 1990 and with just 3 previous owners as listed on the V5.
This CSL is now ready for a new owner to propel it into its second life as a brand new CSL restored to factory standards as it rolled out of BMW nearly 50 years ago.
