The vendor has owned this Austin Mini Mayfair convertible since 1998; it was renovated over 1999 with a respray, new wings, doors, panels, seats and door cards from a Mini 30, plus other parts replaced over the years since such as the clutch, brakes, tyres and CD player. The car was registered in March 1985 and has an MoT through to May 2025. Its odometer shows 88,697 miles. The car is described by the vendor as running and driving with working brakes.
Paperwork with the Mini includes the current and past V5Cs, some invoices and MoT certificates. In May 1998, the Mini was noted as a Category D insurance loss; vehicle damaged but repairable, insurer decided not to repair.
