72K Miles, Engine Rebuilt, Gearbox Rebuilt
A beautiful 80s Porsche 911, presented in Guards Red over Black pinstripe interior. A low mileage example with just 72k miles recored, warranted by past MOT’s. The last owner enjoyed the car for 10 years. It has just received a major service and had new Pirelli tyres fitted. Having inspected the car thoroughly we are pleased to confirm it is completely solid throughout with zero signs of any corrosion. The interior presents beautifully in virtually unmarked condition. The car drives very well, benefiting from a top end engine rebuild carried out in 2014 at 67K miles by marque specialists TWG Motorsport. At the same time the 915 gearbox was rebuilt and is still a pleasure to use. The clutch feels good, brakes are great and the car feels very tight and precise on the road. Currently sitting slightly lower than standard and running wider 8 & 9 x 16 inch Fuchs wheels, which are in good condition and are shod in brand new Pirelli Rosso tyres tyres all round. The car starts on the button, engine pulls very well, with no oil leaks or any sign of smoke present. A full stainless steel exhaust system has been fitted, as well as new shocks in 2016 and the brakes were attended to in 2019. The original service book has unfortunately been lost, however the invoices are present for the major work including the engine and gearbox rebuild. The drivers manual is present along with the complete tool kit and the original space saver. Overall this is a fantastic, very usable example of a classic 911 at an appealing price point. Supplied with six months warranty, MOT until April 2025 with no advisories and delivery available at cost.
