Built in 1958 and dispatched for sale in the USA during 1959 (when it was painted Signal Red), this Triumph TR3A returned to the UK in 2019, being registered here in May of that year. Since then, it has had two registered keepers. Its odometer shows circa 33,000 miles and there's no record of an MoT since it arrived in the UK. However, as an historic vehicle, it no longer requires annual testing. The car received a full-off body restoration during 2019, with upgrades including a three-branch extractor manifold, 72-spoke wire wheels and (working) overdrive on second, third and fourth gears. It is reported as running and driving, albeit with a faulty fuel gauge (but there is a new sender unit with the car and the tank is half-full of fuel). The vendor has owned it for three years but it is now not getting used.
Paperwork with the Triumph includes the V5C, Heritage Certificate, and a Certificate of Title from California from before it arrived in the UK.
