Vehicle history and description
This stunning 1970 Jaguar E-Type Roadster 4.2 Series 2 represents one of the most iconic and fascinating British sports cars ever built. This particular example, chassis no. 1R11666 with engine no. 7R 9261-9, was imported from the United States in the early 2000s and subsequently fully restored in Italy, before being registered in 2008.
Following the restoration, the car was registered with ASI (Automotoclub Storico Italiano) and in 2010 it obtained the official ASI Certificate, a prestigious recognition confirming the historical authenticity and conformity to the original specifications of the model.
Since the restoration the car has had only two owners and has covered approximately 3,000 km, always carefully maintained and regularly serviced and inspected.
