The 124 Abarth Rally marks Abarth’s entry into the Fiat group: based on the mechanics of the 124 Sport Spider, it represents a special high-performance version, created with the aim of obtaining homologation for racing. The Abarth Rally was available from November 1972 after being presented in prototype form at the Geneva Motor Show of the same year. 995 examples were built, all with a 1756cc twin-cam engine that developed 128 hp.
